What is Oculavis and how is Gerlach to use this technology?

Oculavis is a German start-up which provides customer service and maintenance support from any location by developing technologies and software solutions for data procurement and video transmission.
To cut a long story short: We use our support platform to connect us into your plant and analyse the issues together with your technical department. You can use a smartphone, tablet or the special data goggles, the so-called “Smart glasses” to get us connected. Technicians on site observe the machine which is in need of maintenance simply through these glasses and get relevant information provided in their view field.

Beside the visual access our service experts get the opportunity to connect to your machine via VPN. Supported by live chat and video function you have the impression that our technician is on site with you.
