No relationship between Gerlach Maschinenbau GmbH and Gerlach Inc. Kent (OH) USA!

We are often asked how Gerlach Maschinenbau GmbH of Germany (Gerlach) is related to Gerlach Inc. in Kent (OH) USA or Mr. Garry Hall. Our customers are also interested in the essential machine differences, performance and environmental aspects, and the technological and safety standard of the machines supplied by Gerlach and Gerlach Inc. Kent (OH) USA. For many years, there hasn’t been any relationship between Gerlach (including its predecessor companies) and Gerlach Inc. And there still isn’t any relationship now.

Since Gerlach was founded the focus has always been on the high goal of engineering and building technologically sophisticated and ambitious vulcanization machines. We didn’t have to wait long for success. Thanks to the academic approach and irresistible innovative strength of company founder Jürgen Gerlach, paired with excellent mechanical engineering, we were very quickly able to impress our global customers. Strong international market expansion and market presence followed.

In answer to the large demand in the USA Mr. Garry Hall initially provided Gerlach with local support. Primarily support was provided in the fields of control cabinet engineering, later Mr. Garry Hall provided Gerlach with support for commissioning and service, as well as sales and marketing of Gerlach’s German-made machines in the USA. Mr. Garry Hall founded Gerlach Inc., based in Kent (OH) USA, for his activities. After a few years Mr. Garry Hall also began producing hot air vulcanization machines.

Even long before Mr. Jürgen Gerlach left Gerlach in 2006 Gerlach Inc. was already acting independently, both economically and technically. Inevitably Gerlach Inc. has since no longer been involved with the considerable further developments of Gerlach with its strongly academic approach.

We would therefore like to point out that machines supplied and marketed by Gerlach Inc. are not Gerlach Maschinenbau GmbH machines and are now no longer comparable in terms of design.
