Hot Air Channel GM 500 with Guided Wave Microwave Technology
The GM 500 hot air channel is not only a modular and energy-efficient system for the vulcanization of elastomer profiles, which can be flexibly adapted to customer requirements. With our new guided wave microwave technology, the GM 500 brings vulcanization technology to a whole new level. The product is guided directly through the reactor chamber of the waveguide twice for each 3 kW microwave unit, where it is brought into direct contact with the microwave radiation. Hot air, generated either by the gas-heated OCTOtherm BK 400 or the electrically heated Heat Tower HT 420 flows turbulently through the channel. This increases the effectiveness of microwave radiation.
Simultaneous energy input through heat conduction and transition results in extremely rapid product heating, offering you higher production speeds with minimal energy consumption.
The microwave GM 500 also features the innovative recirculating air channeling system, improved insulation, and the same standardized modules.
