Hot air channel GM 500

The GM 500 hot air channel is a modular and energy-efficient system for vulcanization or drying of elastomer profiles, which can be flexibly adapted to customer requirements. The machine is equipped with an innovative recirculating air channeling system and advanced insulation technology to minimize energy consumption and ensure uniform temperature distribution.

The machine design allows the hot air to be supplied to the injection nozzles very quickly and without heat loss within the inner channel, which is designed as a double shaft. 

The subsequent air injection into the channel is carried out by flow-optimized and laterally adjustable injection nozzles mounted in a 180 ° arrangement.

Space-intensive circulating air piping below the machine can thus be dispensed with and offers space for a decentralized electrical and pneumatic supply of the machine modules.

  • Modular design and flexibility: The machine consists of standardized modules with lengths of 1500 or 3000 mm, which can be easily replaced or expanded without moving the entire system. The electrical engineering is integrated per module, which enables “plug and play” functionality. The installation of microwave modules or the use of infrared emitters for paint drying is also possible.
  • Innovative recirculating air channeling and energy efficiency: The recirculating air channel is located directly under the working shaft for faster and more uniform heating. Heating is always provided by our OCTOtherm BK 400 combustion chamber or the HT 420 electric heating tower.
