Gerlach assistance for our customers from the far

The #Corona-Crisis has a lock on the world. People should not travel and avoid social contacts as far as it is possible. For that reason, our service technicians also have to stay at home and can neither commission new vulcanization plants nor provide necessary maintenance or repair hot air, microwave or other Gerlach machines having defects.

Our customers will continue to vulcanize elastomeric profiles anyway, if possible or use the time with the production stop for maintenance. Whether they need our assistance for disturbances or even breakdowns in a still active production or face a problem doing maintenance, nowadays we are not able to help physically on site.

However, we don’t want to let our customers down and offer them our support using the Gerlach Supervision Service (GSS).

This is a cooperation with the company Oculavis, and the Oculavis Share’s technology enables professional support of our experts via live video transmission. All our customers need is a smartphone or a tablet with WIFI and internet access. The rest is easy.

They need to contact us. We will create an account for them and give them the access data within minutes. Now they only have to download the Oculavis Share App on smartphone or tablet and can enter the platform with the access data, they got from us.

Fast support thanks to Oculavis – use live remote maintenance with one click at no costs for 10 weeks

Using the Gerlach support platform, our customers can contact our experts, who can solve the problem together with their technical staff. It is also possible for our support team to combine this support with the remote access via VPN to carry out remote maintenance.

With the live video function, our experts can see what the customer sees and will be able to explain him what he has to do to find the reason for a fault and guide him to settle the problem – even when they are thousands of miles away.

As this situation with #SarsCoV-2 is a special challenge for all of us, this offer is free of charge until end of May. After this period, we will either cancel the access or – if customers liked that service and would continue with it – we will mutually determine the extent of service with costs of the GSS.
